Origin
The origin of the EAFI firms stems from the Markets in Financial Directive 2004/39/CE (MIFID). They meet the growing demand from investors of personalized financial advice to manage their net-worth.
The new Directive includes the financial advisory services into the investment services segment submitted to a prior authorization from the regulator.
